This piece caught my eye right away. I really like the contrast of colors from the dark to the light. And, though, it's in not black and white it still has a very strong impact as if it were.

I like how you get a sense of relaxation in a high-speed world. It shows how much of a pleasure a warm drink can be in our fast passed lives. To me it says that I need to take a break, even a small one, from my life and enjoy the simple pleasures.

I also like the angle of the mug and how it's put to the side a little bit, saying that you can enjoy relaxation while still being productive, and the homework around it puts emphasis on this because I usually associate stress or anxiety with schooling. The blurred back ground also has an impact because it's saying to me that you can, at times, let the world around pass by while you enjoy a leisurely moment.

I do, however, wish that the mug was just a tad more in focus. I think it would have just cleaned it up a little bit. But that is the only "bad" thing I could think of. It's a great piece and a wonderful job. <img src="e.deviantart.com/emoticons/b/b…" width="15" height="15" alt="=D" title="=D (Big Grin)" />
